Tjilkamala Rockholes Fabric - Blue and Teal on Black (Tuscany Linen) 50cm Bags and Accessories She began painting in 2007This fabric by Alice Nampitjinpa Dixon depicts Takupalangu, west of Kintore her father Uta Uta Tjangala's Country of rockholes (puli) and sandhills (tali). Takupalangu is a big swamp filled with bush vegetables called mungilpa. When Alice was a small girl she travelled this Country with her family, her mother collecting mungilpa and pummelling it into damper. Alice's Tjukurrpa is the porcupine Tjilkamala scurrying about the rockholes and sandhills
