Woodfired Figure 2 P08920-P02270 Hand built from porcelain clayFor more than three decades, Cathy Broski has been exploring the figure. Recognized for her archetypal figures, she experiments with minimizing some aspects of the figure while maximizing others. Her surfaces are inspired by weathered objects and the erosion of the earth. Created by throwing the base on a potter's wheel and finishing the gestural form with hand building techniques, it boasts artist made glazes and is one of a kind. Satin finish
