A nameless distiller decided to celebrate life and new beginnings (we presume) and made a barrel of Cognac. Decades passed while the cherished Spirit matured patiently, forgotten, not caring about the world changing outside. The lost cask was discovered in the 21st century by the Last Drop Team in the Charente region. Turns out that the eau de vie was created by a family that's been making Cognac since 1727.
