Instituted in 1843 by Al Mustafa ibn Mahmud. 3rd Model, Type V with Cypher of Muhammad V an Nasir (1906 1922). A silver ten point star with alternating red and green enamelled rays, with three faceted rays between each star point, centerpiece bears a ring of individuals facets with a the cypher of Muhammad V an Nasir on a green enamelled background, on a bow suspension, reverse plain, makers mark AXC (A. Chobillion) on suspension
