floral notes emerge as a feature of our white wines
Extremely gentle pressing of the whole grapes preceeds a cold soak and then fermentation and ageing (with batonnage) in old Nevers oak barriques for 6 months (oak adds nothing to the wine except deep stabilisation of the wine's rich intensity)
Notes of floral and herbs baland the bright acidity and mouth watering dry finish
The familiarity of dark fruits
M. Chapoutier Alsace ‘Lieu-dit-Berg’ Single vineyard 2015 Size::1 Bottle floral notes emerge as aAppearance: gold with greenish highlights. Nose: The nose presents pretty empyreumatic, honeyed notes, sought after by older Riesling lovers. Palate: The palate is powerful and sunny. The smoothness brought by the empyreumatic notes gives a very nice length to the wine.
