Germany, Imperial. A First War German Army Officer’s Miniature Sword Hold dated July 8(Heer Briefffner). Constructed of a gilded bronze handle with a 182 mm long magnetic metal blade, the hilt consisting of a stylized lions head, with an additional lions head adorning the upper crossguard, unmarked, measuring 224 mm in total length, in better than very fine condition.
