A First War Canadian Corps Cyclists General Service Badge Auction Archive engraved "NoBronze, maker marked "J. R. GAUNT LONDON" on the reverse, 45 mm x 48. 7 mm, both lugs intact, very light surface wear, near extremely fine. Footnote: The First Canadian Cyclist Company sailed with the 1st Canadian Division on October 14, 1914. Since it had been established that all further divisions must carry a cyclist battalion, recruiting was carried out by the Corps of Guides of the Non Permanent Active Militia.
