A New York Medal Of Honor For World War Service 1917-1919 Archive Footnote: The 35th Infantry DivisionIn bronze gilt, number impressed "69846" on the reverse, measuring 33. 3 mm in diameter, edge nicks, very light contact, original ribbon with pinback, near extremely fine. Footnote: The Act created a board consisting of the governor, adjutant general and chief of the bureau of war records, to carry out the provisions. An amount of $50,000 was authorized for the design and purchase of a medal, which was to be made available to any citizen of the state
