Constructed of silver, on loop for suspension with its period original ribbon affixed to a pentagonal backplate with a horizontal pinback, the obverse bearing a raised and rightward facing profile of King Friedrich August, circumscribed by name and title, the reverse bearing a circular laurel and oak leaf wreath, surrounding a central engraved inscription of FR TREUE IM K. S. MILITRVEREIN (FOR
