Colonel F.g Marchand, The Richelieu Light Infantry, 1868 Hold dated to Hamburg on JanuaryA bronze Maltese cross with ball finials, the arms engraved R D A CANADA, with the central medallion featuring a royal crown surrounded by an exterior wreath, the reverse is plain with engraved inscription Dominion Prize Lt. Colonel F. G Marchand 21st Battalion V. M 1868, the cross is surmounted by crossed rifles with a slot for ribbon, measures 43. 5mm (w) x 58. 4mm (h), weighs 14. 4 grams, dark patina, light wear, in very fine condition. Footnote:
