The certificate was awarded by the NSDAP Gau of Koblenz Trier, western Germany. They had organised a project to decorate houses and villages with flowers in order to increase a sense of local pride and increase tourism in the area. The recipient is the Widow Blankenheim from the town of Kruft, who excelled in this task.
