surrounded by a Latvian ornament
and was promoted to NCO on November 6
and went operational in the following month with sorties to Hamburg and Essen

Of French manufacture, in silver gilt, a red enamelled Maltese cross with ball finials and fanned arches in each knee, crossed swords through the center of the cross, with superimposed double headed eagle on top of each sword section between the arms, the obverse medallion features a hand painted red monogram of Saint Stanislaus, set within a circular laurel leaf wreath highlighted in green enamels,
