China, Republic (Taiwan). An Air Force Rapacious Condor Medal Archive maker marked "BW"Instituted in 1945. In silvered and gilt metal with navy blue enamels, number impressed "76" on the reverse, measuring 35. 8 mm (w) x 45. 5 mm (h), intact enamels, contact marks, original ribbon with pinback, better than very fine. Footnote: The Air Force Rapacious Condor Medal was instituted on June 14, 1945 and awarded for 300 flight hours or 100 missions.
