A Helmet Plate For Enlisted Man, C.1780 Hold drill holes placed on eitherIn bronze, a Russian helmet plate depicting a central hand etched double headed eagle holding a scepter and orb, with a black lacquer background contained in a frame, surrounded by an ornate floral design topped by a seashell shape, reverse contours match the obverse, acquisition marked 1941G near the base on the reverse, several small holes around the exterior edge for helmet connection, measures 88mm (w) x 207mm (h), loss of lacquer, light wear and
