Germany, Imperial. A 1914 Iron Cross, I Class, Brass Version United Republic of 1995 by Royal Decree No(Eisernes Kreuz 1914 1. Klasse). A cross patte of multi piece construction with a blackened brass core (non magnetic) within a ribbed border, the obverse with a raised central W, with the re institution date 1914 in raised numbering on the lower arm, and the royal crown on the upper arm, with a principal pin assembly in a style that indicates late war manufacturing, measuring 43. 29 mm (w) x 42. 86 mm (h), weighing 14. 8 grams, and in good condition.
