Silver neck badge with white enamel and a dark red cabochon centrepiece, inclusive of flower suspension 72. 4 mm (h) x 45. 4 mm (w), on original striped ribbon, mint condition. Housed in original case, very fine condition. Footnote: The Order of the Rising Sun was instituted 4th of October 1875 by Emperor Meiji. The Order of the Rising Sun is awarded to people who have rendered distinguished service to the state
