A Civil War Large Army Cartridge Pouch United Republic of WestphaliaExterior in black finished thick leather, heavily stitched throughout, weather flap front bearing a 84. 3 mm in width x 54 mm in height insignia in bronze gilt inscribed "US" within an oval frame, the insignia secured on the underside of the weather flap via two loops with rings, cover flap affixed to the front of the main pouch which houses two cartridge pouch inserts in tin, each of which incorporates a divider that creates a larger and smaller
