Brazil, Kingdom. A Rare First War Victory Medal, Official Type II Buy Now when shortly after6:30 pInstituted June 22, 1923. An Official Type II Brazilian Victory Medal, in bronze, with J. S. Initials on lower limb of rays below angles wing tip denoting Jorge Soubre, reverse depicts the arms of the Allied nations, those of Brazil are found in the centre, with the inscription; GRANDE GUERRA PELA CIVILISACAO (Great War for Civilisation), measures 35. 18 mm (w) x 39. 37 mm (h), worn on replacement period ribbon, dark patina, very fine.
