Constructed of silvered feinzink, with an oak leaf border and raised number 25 within a border at the base, with a large Wehrmacht style German national eagle clutching a mobile swastika, on top of a crossed bayonet and stick grenade, the reverse with a barrel hinge and banjo style pinback meeting a flat wire catch, marked with logo of maker Rudolf Karneth & Shne, Gablonz, measuring 48. 43 mm (w) x 58.
