Signed card, where he wrote, in French, "Sir, my favorite role? Arnold in Guillaume Tell". Size is 4. 1 x 2. 5 inches, in excellent condition. Autographs of Escalais are very scarce! ALSO INCLUDED is a small printed photo (modern copy) of Escalais in role (probably as Arnold in Guillaume Tell).
