The front is worked with foliate scrolls arranged around a central flowerhead, framed by a plaited border. The reverse is densely engraved with flowers and leaves around a shaped cartouche. Substantial in hand at 12. 6g, it opens to reveal both internal frames. A classic statement piece with elegant Victorian workmanship and a generous, wearable scale.
