Constructed of gilded aluminum, the obverse consisting of a circular oak leaf wreath, overlaid by an NSDAP style German national eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, the reverse with a clip and dual attachment claws (one replaced and mis matched), marked with a Reichszeugmeisterei (RZM) logo and maker code M4 24 for Friedrich Linden, Ldenscheid, measuring 56 mm in diameter, demonstrating sporadic loss
