Saxony, Kingdom. A Commemorative Cross Of 1866 certificate_of_authenticity being an Iron Cross 1914(Erinnerungskreuz 1866). Instituted 22 May 1867 by King Johann. (1867 issue). Constructed of bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, consisting of a Cross Patte with sun rays joining the quadrants, the obverse with a central monogram of King Johann, within an oak leaf wreath, with sun rays joining the quadrants, the reverse with a central date of 1866, within an oak leaf wreath, unmarked, measuring 30. 19 mm (w) x 32. 41 mm
