Serbia, Kingdom. An Order of Takovo, III Class, c.1900 Auction Archive It was designed to reward( Orden Takovskog Krsta). Instituted in 1865. Type IV (1878 1993). In silver gilt with red, blue, white and green enamels, monogram of Prince of Serbia Mihailo Obrenovi III (1823 1868) on the obverse centrepiece, measuring 42. 6 mm (w) x 72. 6 mm (h inclusive of its crown suspension), marked 800 silver on ring, small enamel chips 9 oclock arm and on the crown, on an original full length neck ribbon, remains extremely fine.
