Austria-Hungary, Empire. A First World War Landwehr Cap Badge consisting of a blue enamelled Romanian Cross with clusters of nine gilt rays in eac as well as the construction(K. u. K. Kappenabzeichen). Constructed of toned zink with gilt, the obverse bearing a raised horn surrounding a number 35, topped by an Iron Cross circumscribed by dates 1914, 1915, 1916, all surrounded by a laurel leaf wreath, the reverse with a clip hinge and vertical pinback meeting a flat catch, unmarked, measuring 32 mm (w) x 46 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.
