Cacao Nibs local Roasting and selecting premium cacaoCacao nibs are the inside of the cacao bean, after the bean has been roasted and husked. They are packed with antioxidants and considered a superfood. Sprinkle nibs onto salads, yogurt, oatmeal, pancakes or use them as an alternative to nuts. Blend them in with a smoothie or protein drink. When making coffee, grind equal parts coffee beans and cacao nibs together, and then brew as usual. Yum!
