A First War 134Th Infantry Battalion "48Th Highlanders" Glengarry Badge Auction the reverse with a tigerCanada; Browning copper, voided, maker marked "ELLIS BROS TORONTO" on the reverse, 46. 5 mm (w) x 58 mm (h), intact lugs and pin, green oxidation evident on the obverse, near extremely fine. Footnote: The Battalion was raised and mobilized in Toronto, Ontario under the authority of G. O. 151, December 22, 1915. The Battalion sailed August 9, 1916 under the command of Lieutenant Colonel A. A. Miller with a strength of 32 officers and 1,078 other ranks.
