S.) by Empress Catherine II. Constructed of gilded bronze with multi coloured enamels, consisting of a Cross Patte with red enameled arms trimmed with black enamelled borders, the obverse bearing a central black enamelled medallion overlaid by a hand painted ermine mantle, topped by a crown presenting a monogram of Saint Vladimir, situated within a gilded ring, the reverse bearing a central black
