The band, which was led by singer Lux Interior and guitarist Poison Ivy throughout their career, formed out of the CBGBs scene. During their time together, they released eight full length albums on labels like I. R. S., Epitaph, and Enigma, as well as various EPs, live albums, and compilation albums. They sadly ended after Lux's untimely passing in 2009. The Cramps created a world
