Lebanon, Republic. An Order Of Merit, I Class Grand Cross Sash, C.1935 Hold issued in 1915Instituted in 1922. Fabricated from rayon with wide red, white and blue stripes, featuring a cedar tree in light green, dark green and brown embroidery at the mid point, large rosette at the bottom end, measuring 110 mm wide x 830 mm in length, intact stitching, lightly soiled, pinholes from previous board mounting, very fine. Footnote: The Order of Merit is a Lebanese order of merit created by decision No. 1080 on January 16, 1922, and is regulated
