a five point white enamel Maltese cross with large ball finials
with the addition of an embroidered bead and loop at the neck of the collar for closing of the tunic during adverse wind and weather conditions
later embarking Japan on March 22 and arriving in Korea the next day
Germany, Third Reich. An Order of the German Eagle, V Class Cross with Swords, by C.F. Zimmermann Newly Listed an oval medal(Deutscher Adlerorden Kreuz V. Klasse mit Schwertern). Instituted 1 May 1937. (1943 1945 issue). Constructed of gilded bronze with enamels, consisting of a Maltese Cross with white enameled arms joined through the quadrants by NSDAP style German national eagles clutching wreathed mobile swastikas on white enameled discs, the obverse overlaid across the three and nine oclock arms with crossed swords, the twelve oclock arm topped by a fan suspension
