Germany, Luftwaffe. An Observer’s Badge, Cloth Version consisting of a blue enamelled Romanian Cross with clusters of nine gilt rays in eac downing their target(Beobachterabzeichen, Stoffausfhrung). Constructed of padded dark grey wool, the obverse bearing a machine embroidered silver grey laurel and oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, overlaid by a central swooping Luftwaffe eagle clutching a mobile swastika, the reverse retaining a black rayon liner, unmarked, measuring 66 mm (w) x 65 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.
