Prussia, State. An Order Of The Red Eagle Medal, Merit Medal, C.1900 certificate_of_authenticity Footnote: The Medal for Excellence(Rote Adler Orden Medaille). Instituted 12 June 1792 by Friedrich Wilhelm II. (1871 1908 Issue). Constructed of silver, the obverse with a raised cross patte with central Prussian imperial eagle, the reverse with monogram of Kaiser Wilhelm, unmarked, measuring 24. 71 mm (w) x 33. 16 mm (h), on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, and in near very fine condition.
