both the top and bottom of the brassard have approximately 20mm wide oak leaf separately sewn section produced in gold thread on red cotton
each perforated at the top with two holes reinforced with magnetic metal grommets

Constructed of stainless steel, the obverse handle bearing stamped double Sig runes circumscribed by an inscription of WEWELSBURG, the reverse bearing a Wellner makers mark and silver plating stamp of 90 45, measuring 45 mm (w) x 210 mm (l), in extremely fine condition.
